How I went from failing my exams to an A+ student in every subject in the space of a year.

Last year I was failing miserably at my school work. I was excelling at English, but in every other aspect of school, I was a total failure. I even got nothing right on a couple of maths tests!. And it wasn't like I had any sporting outings or I belonged to any sports teams!. I wasn't good at anything apart from English.

But now I'm an A+ student at every subject. How did that happen...?. In the space of a year??.

It's simple really. I ditched my toxic friends, and started using blue pen and highlighters ( scientifically proven to help you remember ). I also had a good mindset. Read the next two extracts. Spot the difference.

Extract one: 'Oh great!. We have maths class after lunch break 🙄. I hate maths!. Why do we even need to learn division anyway 😤.'

Extract two: 'We have maths after lunch break 👍. That's grand!. A chance to get better at the topic we're learning'.

I stopped hating maths. Now my grades are better at the vast subject. It also helps that i do not have to deal with my toxic friends. And if you need any more tips for being a clever student, be organised!. Seriously I am highly cluttered currently!!. And it totally helps to have everything layed out for the next day!!.

          Keep being clever mini Kay's!.

My first day in secondary school.

Well, it's that time of year again folks!. No not Christmas!!. It's back to school season!. I've started back at school not virtually last week on Monday the 31st of August 2020. I wasn't scared at all!. I walked into the classroom and said "Sup!"!!!. I made a few new friends. The first thing I noticed was a carepackage lying presentably on the desks witch was generous. Soon a teacher came in andnthe day flew by!.

I really liked the teachers!. Of course we couldn't use lockers or our cafeteria due to the on-going pandemic, but that's fine.

The first years are in a different building than the other secondary students at my town so it's like we never really left primary school.

I suppose the biggest challenge I the covid caution. I mean seriously? We are required to wear face masks for the whole school day!, That with the exception of if we are two metres away from every other student, on the yard, we can take our face masks of for short periods of time. And we must sanatize when leaving or entering a room, witch I don't think is enough, so I take my own sanatize to school as well.

Overall, I would say that even with the changes post primary is a tremendous experience so far and I love every staff member already!!.
